It is with the heaviest of hearts that I inform you of the passing of our loved Red Hat sister, Jeannie Canter, this evening. She passed very peacefully with Harold at her side. I was fortunate to spend time with her, along with Pat Rocha, yesterday afternoon. She knew we were there but wasn't too responsive. A Celebration of Life will be held some time in the future and I will be sure to let you know. I know we all send our condolences to Harold, her beloved sister Judy and to all the members of her family. RIP sweet Jeannie, you will be missed and remembered by so many. Not only for your beautiful coordinated outfits but your wonderful personality.

Went to see Jeannie Canter today at her room at St Thomas Assisted Living in Turlock. She is not doing well but is aware of her visitors. Judy was there today as well. I thought you might want to send Jeannie a Christmas card to let her know we are thinking of her. Please keep Judy in your prayers and thoughts as she has a lot on her plate right now.

Dear Red Hat Sisters, I wanted to let all of you know that our Red Hat Sister, Jeannie Canter is now living in Modesto at Stratford at Beyer Park Assisted Living. She moved in yesterday and is now getting adjusted to her new living quarters. Harold has moved into the memory care unit on the first floor and Jeannies apartment is on the third floor. As she adjusts to her new living space she would like to hear from any of you that would like to visit or call her. She is still having some problems getting to her phone but if you leave a message she will eventually hear it. Maybe in a few weeks we can plan a visit with her. I know we all wish her well in her new surroundings and pray for a speedy recovery. If you would like to send a card to let her know we are thinking of her the address is 3529 Forest Glenn Dr. Modesto, CA 95355

Lillian survived a 10 hour surgery yesterday and appears to be doing well! Please keep her in your prayers and good wishes! She is and will be at Stanford for at least five days recuperating Will keep you all updated.
