⚠ ️ Rabies confirmed in petting zoo goats — check if you w⚠️ Rabies confirmed in petting zoo goats — check if you w exposed.

State officials confirmed multiple rabies cases in baby goats at Farm Adventures, a mobile petting zoo based in Harmony, NC. The goats may have been contagious at events in multiple counties between July 28 and August 27.

If you had contact with these goats during that window, at any location, contact your local health department right away to find out if preventive medication is needed.

AppHealthCare (serving Alleghany, Ashe & Watauga) is sharing this alert as a precaution while it's confirmed whether any exposure events were in our area.

Since arriving, Champagne has been a little moppy and seemed somewhat sad. So seeing her running around with the zoomies today absolutely made our hearts happy! 🤍😂
We’re so thankful for our dog associates who give our animals the love, patience, and care they need every single day. Moments like this are why it all matters. 💕

UPDATE "Princess Jasmine": Dear Avery,
We can’t believe it been four years tomorrow since we had Josie formerly princess jasmine. Can’t imagine life without her. Been inserpable ever since we got her. She is silly and crazy loves giving lots of kisses. Loves going on car rides and the doggie park where just her running. Just some pictures I thought you would enjoy of the fun times she has had. He enjoys the company of other kittens and is slowly learning that the world isn't so scary.
