Today,Beatriz, director oSeraphina’s Sanctuaryry, came to visit us at Kindred Tails Sanctuary. What started as a hard day quickly became a reminder of how powerful rescue networking and community truly are.
We had someone surrender 8 kittens to us, along with a medical kitten needing extra care and attention. Like many rescues right now, we are stretched thin — emotionally, physically, financially, and on space. But instead of facing it alone, another rescue stepped in to help.
Beatriz was able to take the 8 kittens, who will now continue their journey through another rescue partner, and she also took in the medical kitten pictured below so it can receive the care it needs.
This is why networking with other rescues matters so much. One rescue may not always have the space, time, supplies, knowledge, foster homes, or reach to help every animal that comes through the door — but together, we can often make miracles happen. By working together, animals get a better chance at safety, medical care, transport, exposure, and ultimately finding loving homes.
Rescue is not a competition. It is a community.
And today was a beautiful reminder of that.
We are incredibly grateful to Beatriz and Seraphina’s Sanctuary for stepping up to help when these babies needed it most. Thank you for being part of the village it takes to save lives.
If possible let’s help her with some kitten supplies.
I have added her wishlist below.
Most important item she needs is a incubator.
