Who’s going?!

The 2025 CT Rivers Council Merit Badge Madness event being held on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at Xavier High School in Middletown, CT. The cost this year will again only be $25.00 per Scout.

Any registered member of a Scouts BSA Troop are welcome to attend. We welcome Scouts from any District or Council. Please share with the families in your Troop if they would like to attend.

New for this year: We will be using electronic blue cards!!! A link will be sent to the registration contact for each Scout to download blue cards approximately one week after the event

Pack 347 will be running a Food Drive to benefit the Hartford Veteran Center this weekend at Stop & Shop, 209 Kitts Lane, Newington CT!

We will be active on Saturday and Sunday from 9am - 4pm. We welcome all to come out to donate to a good cause! We are requesting donations of non-perishable food items and household supplies, such as:

Canned vegetables
Tuna
Peanut butter, jelly
Canned soups
Canned tomatoes
Tomato/Pasta Sauce
Boxed rice
Coffee/Tea
Pasta
Cereal, oatmeal
Mixes (brownie, cake, muffin)
Frosting
Broth
Paper goods
Personal hygiene (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap, etc)

🕚 Time: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM
📍 Where: Center Cemetery in Newington, on the corner of Main and Cedar. [Next to United Church of Christ Congregational]

Join us as one of our Scout Parents leads a special project to clean gravestones and beautify the cemetery. It's a chance to give back to our community and reflect on the importance of honoring those who came before us.

Volunteers Welcome!
We’d love to have some extra help from our pack and troop members. This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to engage in service alongside adults and past scouters!

No Pressure!
If you're able to stop by for a bit, we’d appreciate the support! Feel free to come by and lend a hand or just show your support.

Newington Cub Scout Pack 347 is meeting tomorrow for a night of fun for ALL kids K-5!

Have older youth looking for all kinds of adventure? Join Troop 347 & 1347 at MKMS at 6:30 — same time and location as our pack!

Did you miss our Joining Night last night? NO worries! We are going to have welcoming all NEW and RETURNING scouts to our first official pack meeting next week at Martin Kellogg Middle School for ... SCIENCE IS FUN! with CT Science Center running a series of activity stations for all to enjoy!
