Run for Dom & ALS Research

Run for Dom & ALS Research 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Dom and ALS Research on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Mortensen Community Center, Newington, CT.

Every 90 Minutes someone is diagnosed with ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig's Disease, a progressive neurodegenerative disease that causes muscle weakness, paralysis, and ultimately, respiratory failure. There is no cure or effective treatment for ALS. This year's proceeds of the 5th Annual 5K Run/Walk for Dom and ALS Research, in memory of Newington's former Mayor and State Representative, Dominic M

azzoccoli, will be donated to ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS.net), the #1 nonprofit biotechnology organization dedicated to funding research to cure ALS. Over the past 4 years, you've helped us raise over $70,000 for ALS research! Please join us again on Saturday, September 16, 2017 in loving memory of our father and friend. Thank you!

Awesome news! Now through March 1st Stew Leonard's will be donating all the proceeds received through their Wishing Well Program to support our mission!

Though - to be honest - we're a little late to the game here because Dan was already raised an incredible $1,550 to help support local patients and families living with ! So incredible!!

We will no longer be hosting the annual 5K but we're happy to announce that this year we are joining The Susie Foundation (TSF) in its efforts to help local families that face the many challenges of ALS.
