This past Saturday, members of the Newington Rotary club participated in a multi club event in which thousands of meals were packaged for our local food banks. Newington Rotary delivered their share to the Newington food bank this afternoon. It was a great morning of charity and fellowship. If this is something you might be interested in doing in the future, send us a message!

This week, our longest serving Newington Rotarian celebrated a milestone birthday! Happy Birthday to Newington’s favorite pediatrician, Dr. Doug MacGilpin! Thank you for all you have done and continue to do for our community.

It is with much sadness we share the passing of beloved Newington Rotarian, David Tedeschi. David was our club President for multiple terms and went on to serve as a Rotary Assistant Governor for our district, helping oversee multiple Rotary clubs.

David loved being a Rotarian. He was very hands-on and always did his homework. His most notable project was bringing awareness to the community about human trafficking and worked tirelessly to fight against it. David was a dedicated member of the community, serving in many other capacities outside of Rotary.

We will miss David very much. We ask that you keep his wife, Barbara, and his entire family in your prayers.

View David Tedeschi Jr.'s obituary, send flowers and sign the guestbook.
