On July 8th we held our Annual Picnic in the Park. One of the things our Lions Club does is help seniors by offering 2 scholarships. Both girls will be off to college in the fall. Congratulations and good luck with the next new chapter.

Don't have a flyer yet to post but NIGHT AT THE RACES is scheduled for September 28th at the Newfoundland Firehall. $15 a ticket to come to the races, includes food, drink and 1 horse. $10 a ticket if not able to attend but want to buy a horse. Remember we have a great raffle and a betting table for you to bet on horses every race. Interested in tickets just find a member or contact us here. Remember all monies from our fund raiser benefits our community.
