🚧 Exciting Construction Update! 🚧

If you haven't driven by lately, you'll be amazed by the progress at our new Nurture & Nature center in Kensington! The framing is now up, and it's incredible to see our vision starting to take shape.

Every beam, wall, and window brings us one step closer to creating a beautiful space where children can learn, explore, grow, and connect with nature. We couldn't be more excited to share this journey with our community.

🌷☀️ It finally feels like SPRING at Nurture & Nature! 🌿🦋

The sunshine, fresh air, muddy boots, giggles, and endless outdoor adventures are making our days extra special lately 💚 The children have been loving exploring nature, running, playing, discovering, and soaking up every beautiful spring moment 🌼🐞

There’s nothing better than seeing happy little faces enjoying the outdoors and making memories together 🌈✨

In just a few short weeks, so much progress has been made and we are beyond excited to see our vision coming to life. From construction milestones to all the thoughtful details coming together, every day brings us one step closer to creating a beautiful space for children to learn, grow, explore, and thrive. 🌿🛠️

Every day, they care for, comfort, teach, and nurture our littlest learners—helping them grow with love, patience, and endless energy. From first friendships to big milestones, they are there for it all. 🧸🌈📚🍎

Today, we celebrated our amazing team with a “super” breakfast! 🍩 🍓🫐💫 Just a small way to say THANK YOU for the huge impact they make in the lives of our children and families. 💥

Big News from Nurture & Nature! 🎉

We’re thrilled to share that we’ve officially secured financing through Kennebunk Savings to renovate our future home at 98 Amesbury Rd in Kensington!

With permits in hand and plans nearly finalized, we’re ready to break ground, starting with demolition THIS week. 🔨 🚧

This moment once felt impossible, and we’re so grateful for the support that got us here. More updates (and ways to get involved!) coming soon.

It’s the Week of the Young Child! 🌱✨

This special week is all about celebrating our youngest learners and recognizing the importance of early childhood in shaping a lifelong love of learning, creativity, and connection. It’s a time to honor the teachers, caregivers, and families who nurture and support children during these incredibly important years.

At Nurture & Nature, we’re celebrating all week long with fun activities designed to spark curiosity, encourage creativity, and bring lots of joy to our little ones.

🌿✨Project Update: 98 Amesbury Road✨🌿

We’re excited to share that things continue to move in a positive direction for our new center at 98 Amesbury Road! Here’s where things stand:

🏦 Financing Progress
Our Board is in the process of approving a property appraisal requested by one of the banks we’re working with — a very encouraging step forward! We are currently in underwriting conversations with both local banking partners and remain optimistic based on our recent discussions.

💡 Energy-Efficient Funding Opportunity
We are exploring a community program that offers low-interest loans for energy-efficient systems and products during construction. If approved, this would help supplement our financing and support a more sustainable build. 🌎♻️

🏗️ Construction Updates
• Conversations are ongoing to finalize scheduling and site planning with our contractor.
• We are refining the building layout to make it even more operationally friendly 🎉

🤝 Community Support
We’ve had several promising conversations with individuals and programs interested in supporting our mission in a variety of ways. We are also working closely with local organizations to continue building awareness and support within our community.

Our Board is working tirelessly to evaluate every opportunity and move this project forward responsibly and thoughtfully — with our families, staff, and children as the top priority. 💛
