🌸 Huge shoutout to Triple J Heating & Cooling and The Newcomerstown Street Department for the use of their trucks and manpower to help haul and hang/place our beautiful flower troughs and hanging baskets! 🚛🌺

We only have a few more spots to finish, and then Newcomerstown will officially be “flowered” for the season! 😄

Take a drive around town and enjoy the beautiful flowers that can be found throughout the community, including Cy Young Park, Simond’s Heller Park, Morris Crossing, Canal Street, downtown Main Street, and many other locations. 🌼

You’ll also notice that painting has commenced again this year on some of our final businesses along Main Street, continuing our efforts to beautify and revitalize our downtown district.

Thank you to everyone who contributes their time, resources, and hard work to making Newcomerstown such a beautiful place to live, work, and visit. We couldn’t do it without the support of our local businesses, volunteers, and community partners! 💚🌸

Let’s celebrate America’s 250th Birthday by turning Newcomerstown into a fireworks display of flowers, beauty, and community pride! 🌺✨

Newcomerstown NOW is excited to kick off our friendly community competition recognizing the homes and businesses that go above and beyond to make our Village beautiful. Winners will earn the honor of being named one of the “Newcomerstown Beautities” and receive a special yard sign recognizing their efforts! 🌼🏡

🌟 Judging Criteria Includes:
✔️ Beauty
✔️ Curb appeal
✔️ Live flowers
✔️ Neatness
✔️ A maintained front yard

🌸 Bonus points if your display includes a few Newcomerstown Coneflowers!

📌 Faux flowers will only be accepted in door wreaths.

👀 Know a yard that deserves recognition?

🌸 We’re getting our hands dirty and getting ready to bring color back to town! 🌸

We’ve been busy cleaning pots, planting flowers, and getting everything ready for another beautiful season. We are so excited about the color combinations we chose this year and can’t wait for everyone to see them blooming around the community! 🌺🌼🌿

We’ll be keeping the flowers in the greenhouse for a couple more weeks so they can continue to grow and fill out before making their way around town. 💐
