FTR: I fully support responsible fi***rm ownership by responsible adults.

Every time we collectively endure yet another mass shooting in our once (and yet again to be) great nation, the first question always asked is, “Why?”

The pundits then gleefully chime in with political agendas disguised as bogus Second Amendment debate.

But, “Why?”, is the wrong question because the answer is obvious:

The shooter was/is insane.

That is the only reason for one to become a mass murderer.

The correct question is the one which is ɴᴇᴠᴇʀ asked:

“𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕/𝒘𝒉𝒐 𝒅𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒂𝒏𝒆?”

𝑻𝑯𝑨𝑻’𝑺 the right question.

Because nothing excuses the mass murder of innocent people, but understanding the cause is how we prevent the next one.

How much abuse and harassment and threats and lies and neglect and apathy and discrimination and marginalizing and endangering and muzzling and dehumanizing and insulting and intimidation attempts were required to eventually succeed at forcing a Human mind to finally snap? What seemingly normal-looking individuals would torment a fellow Human Being so cruelly?

Sadly, in most American towns, no one has to look farther than the end of their own street for the answer.

But, honestly answering that question would force horrible individuals to confess what they truly are at their core — an act of self-aware bravery no horrible coward can even conceive of. So, that question, conveniently, just never gets asked.

As a nation, we need to start asking it BEFORE the next tragedy, not after. 🙏

The abject stupidity of magaT’s is genuinely indescribable. 🤦‍♂️

About 6 million people were slaughtered in the wholly unforgivable Holocaust.

About 𝟻𝟻 𝙼𝙸𝙻𝙻𝙸𝙾𝙽 Indigenous People were slaughtered in the obviously MUCH more unforgivable invasion of America by white people. Nearly ten times as many were murdered.

Columbus was a monster who was fired from his job and returned to Spain in chains, precisely because they were so horrifically monstrous to other Human Beings.

Question EVERYTHING. Including me.
