Through the Y Social Impact Center Caregiver Support Program, families receive practical resources, guidance, and connection as they navigate foster care. And in just two years, the program has grown to support 59 families and 83 youth across South King County.

Meet Erick Marin-OchoašŸ‘šŸŽ‰
Membership Representative, Coal Creek Y

Erick has spent the past two years welcoming members and building connections throughout the Y. One of the most rewarding parts of his role is meeting new people, learning about their cultures, and appreciating the languages and traditions that make our community unique.

The Y has been part of Erickā€™s life since he was 13 years old. Today, his entire family stays connected and active, participating in group exercise classes, pickleball, and Zumba.
From his professional work at the front desk to his familyā€™s enthusiastic involvement, Erick represents the community, belonging, and connection at the heart of the Y.
