f📈FFCP Payments to landowners more than tripled in 2026, proof that the program is moving from momentum to meaningful payouts.

💸FFCP still has $17, 940,000 committed to these family forest owners throughout their program contracts. This number continues to grow yearly, meaning more dollars directly in the hands of landowners.

✨ Congratulations to the 2025 National Outstanding Tree Farmers of the Year: Jim and Pam Porter! ✨

Their incredible commitment to stewardship has transformed Bailey Mill Plantation into a leading example of sustainable forestry.

The Porters are incredibly deserving of this award, managing 3,000 acres with a long-term vision for conservation and family legacy, placing 1,645 acres in a conservation easement and managing 300 for quail habitat whilst performing advanced silviculture techniques and prescribed burning throughout the property.

They have also turned their woods into a classroom, inviting landowners, conservation groups, schoolchildren, and even the Governor of South Carolina to become inspired by their forestry efforts.

Thank you to the Porters for all that you are doing to protect the health of America’s Forests!
