Have some old and unwanted documents that need shredding? There are three upcoming shredding events that you can take advantage of:

1. The Union Congregational Church is holding a shredding day on Saturday, April 20 from 9 AM - 12 PM on 350 Main Street, Amesbury. There is a suggested donation of $7 per box. In addition, you can also drop off non-perishable food items for Our Neighbor's Table.

2. The Institution for Savings, located on 68 Storey Avenue, Newburyport, is holding a shredding day event on Saturday, April 27 from 9 AM - 12 PM. They provide free document shredding services.

3. The Amesbury/Newburyport Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) Post 2016 is holding a shredding day on Saturday, May 4. The location is at the Amesbury Middle School driveway (220 Main Street, Amesbury) in front of the Doughboy statue from 9 AM - 11:30 AM. There is no fee for seniors, military and veterans. For all other community members, there is a suggested donation of $5 per bin.
