⛳️ It’s October—time for golf season for the Sean Perkins Foundation!

We still can’t believe we’re officially kicking off our 8th Annual SPF Golf Tournament at Pease Golf Course on Monday, October 5th!

This is the time of year we come together to support the community and keep Sean’s memory alive—and we’re still looking for sponsors to make that possible.

We’re still looking for: Hole Sponsors ($100) and other sponsorship levels:

Hole Sponsor — $100** (your name on a sign on the course)

Bronze Sponsor — $250** (acknowledgement at awards ceremony + hole sponsor)

Silver Sponsor — $500** (acknowledgement at awards ceremony + logo and name recognition + sign placement on the course)

Gold Sponsor — $1,000** (verbal acknowledgement at the award ceremony + logo and name recognition + prominent sign placement on the course)

Every year, we’re able to give back all the money made during the golf tournament to local charities and organizations, and we couldn’t do it without your generosity and kindness. We are truly grateful for your support.

I can’t believe that we are officially kicking off our 8th annual SPF golf tournament at Pease Golf Course on Monday, October 5th. Shotgun start at 9:00am.

While we are so grateful to already be full in terms of golf teams, we are looking for hole sponsors ($100 each to have your name on a sign on the course), gold sponsors ($1000 - verbal acknowledgement at the award ceremony and logo and name recognition, prominent sign placement on the course) and silver sponsors ($500 - acknowledgement at awards ceremony, logo and name recognition, sign placement on course) and bronze ($250 - acknowledgment at awards ceremony and a hole sponsors).

I am including the Venmo barcode for donations; please leave your name and sponsorship level in the memo. You can also go on our website to get more information on the tournament and donation opportunities.

Each year, we are able to give back all the money made during the golf tournament to local charities and organizations due to your generosity and kindness. We are endlessly grateful for your support, and thank you dearly for keeping Sean‘s memory alive.

Last night was very special for the Sean Perkins Foundation. We came together to celebrate the batting cages we sponsored at the Newburyport Pioneer League. The Pioneer League was an integral part of Sean’s life, as most of our childhood was spent there on the fields, learning the game of baseball and meeting our very closest friends. Sean loved the game of baseball and he loved supporting others, so the batting cages were a perfect fit for our foundation. We feel immense joy knowing that generations of children will get to enjoy these cages as they grow and develop as young adults and athletes. A special thanks to all who came out last night to support us, as well as the Pioneer League for putting the ceremony together, we are endlessly grateful.

The Sean Perkins Foundation had SO much fun volunteering for the road race this year. This is our fourth year helping out and every year, it gets better and better. So many smiling faces, high-fives, and people genuinely appreciating our very loud and crazy clapping and yelling. 🤣 A big congratulations to all the runners, we can’t wait to see you again next year!

We are incredibly proud to announce a new Sean Perkins “For Love of the Game” award for the Newburyport High School baseball team. This award highlights a baseball player that demonstrates sportsmanship, support for their teammates, respect to all and a positive attitude. We would like to thank the coaching staff for putting this award together and congratulate MJ Zappala for being the first recipient.

We are endlessly grateful for all the ways this community has gone out of its way to honor Sean and his legacy of kindness and good works. We strive each and every day to continue to honor him and to bring joy and to help those in the area who need it most. Thank you for making that mission possible.

It was a really wonderful evening at Newburyport High School last night! We could not be prouder of our 2026 award recipients and wish them nothing but the best next year at school! Congratulations to Sadie Reardon, Kian Marcos, Piper Herndon and Madeleine Jackman. You’re an amazing group of kids that exemplify the values our foundation holds so dear.
