We've got some exciting things happening for the month of December on
W8OKE.

NORMA is partnering with Brad N8PC to bring you and your little ones several opportunities to talk to Santa!

Here are the following dates and times:

Nov 28 - Dec 3rd: 8 - 9:30 PM
Dec 4th: 7-9 PM
Dec 5 - 9: 8 - 9:30 PM

Connection times will differ from the actual net schedule based on the
schedule of nets originating on the repeater.

The Santa Net will be disconnected approximately 5 minutes before the
Tri-County Traffic net at 9 PM on Sunday, Tuesday and Friday.

The Santa Net will be disconnected approximately 5 minutes before the Geauga County Public Service, Emergency and Weather net at 9 PM on Monday.

The Santa Net will resume AFTER the QCWA Chapter 1 net at 8PM Wednesday.

WNOB, now WENZ, is the radio station who is letting us use their tower for the repeater station. Pretty neat article from Cleveland Classic Media!

It is with great sadness that we report the passing of NORMA director, amateur radio operator and friend, Richard (Dick) Ingraham. He helped in the creation of NORMA back in the 1980s. He served as newsletter editor and publisher, control operator and treasurer for many years. He will be deeply missed.

Richard Ingraham passed away in Willoughby, Ohio. Funeral Home Services for Richard are being provided by McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home. The obituary was featured in News-Herald on November 6, 2019, and The Plain Dealer on November 6, 2019.
