Another community announcement!!
Kiwanis Lake will be participating in this AWESOME opportunity for lunches throughout the summer! This program is completely free and we have already talked to the organization about delivering to our community center! Please private message us if you have signed up or need help signing up so we can let the delivery volunteers know how many lunches can be brought in 1 trip! If you know any kids that should get lunches but have parents that maybe wouldn’t go through the trouble to sign them up, let us know that too and we can get extra lunches for those kids! I am in contact with the organization and we can get anyone help that needs it regardless of your financial situation.
Please note that this is all a volunteer program and not government funded and therefore the guidelines that schools have to follow don’t adhere to these lunches.

Attention Community Members!! We have some things we as a board would like you to know

1. Summer weather is here! Well kinda.. and there are lots of kids at our community lake/beach. Please remember that if you are sending your kids down to the beach; they NEED to be supervised and it’s a good idea to send a life jacket. Our lake is VERY deep in some places and lots of people have drown here (both kids and adults). There is NO life guard on duty so your kids’ lives are in your hands! Please, please, please don’t send your kids down unattended- especially when swimming

2. We are looking for some community volunteers for the following:
—Pressure washing
—Staining wood
—Landscaping at the community hall and the beach!

3. We would also like to inform you that our annual meeting will be on Tuesday, June 23rd at 7:00pm.
Here you can bring up any concerns within the community, pay your annual dues of $60, and vote on new officers for our board. We will also be discussing our financial report and more.

4. And finally, we would like to inform you of a new SUMMER fundraiser we will be doing. We are kicking it old school and bringing back the Kiwanis Lake Bazaar! It will be taking place at the beach on August 8th 2026! We will have a small admission fee, food for sale, games, and lots of fun! Stay tuned for more info!
