I recall a Christmas season when financial struggles necessitated maxing out my credit cards to provide for my family, a stark contrast to more affluent periods. Throughout my life, I have experienced a wide range of financial circumstances, from putting only $10 worth of gas in my tank to being able to afford $50. There have been times when I had only $5 to feed myself, while on other occasions I had $200 to dine out. My home has been both abundant with food and nearly empty. I have made purchases without concern for the cost and have also had to carefully calculate expenses, returning items to the shelf when necessary. I have paid bills in full and, regrettably, late as well. I have been in a position to give to others and, conversely, have had to request assistance. We all experience life’s highs and lows, some more pronounced than others, yet we share a common goal: to persevere. No individual is inherently superior to another, and it saddens me to think that some people believe otherwise. Regardless of one’s material possessions or wealth, we are all equal in our mortality, and our shared humanity should unite us. Be kind to others, for we are all here to serve. Refrain from arrogance, as an inflated ego serves no purpose. Instead, cultivate humility and maintain faith. Few will take the time to read these words, but I challenge those who genuinely resonate with this message to share it. Most, however, will not, as they embody the very attitudes I am addressing. 💯t
