The Orange County land trust put on a wonderful event last week. The CCA and our affiliate organizations, support construction projects that higher local union labor. We also believe in the concept of balance. Great projects should compliment open space and we support the land trusts mission to continue to protect irreplaceable natural resources.

We still can’t stop talking about what a great time we had at the CCA Annual Meeting! It was wonderful seeing so many friends, colleagues, and our union and industry partners together for such a great evening.

A special thank you to our keynote speaker, Jeffrey M. Grabelsky of Cornell University, for sharing his expertise and insights on the benefits of Project Labor Agreements for both private and public projects, and to Resorts World Catskills for providing a truly world-class venue. Events like this remind us how strong our construction community is when we come together💚.

Thank you to the Orange County Partnership for inviting us to participate with other key industry leaders at a roundtable with the representative of the Ferderal Reserve of NY.
Mr. John Williams President of the Federal Reserve plays a key role as he votes to help set the interest rates that help regulate our economy.
The discussion focused on job creation, the need for affordable housing ( preferably affordably sized single family homes), energy production, healthcare, higher education, and the need to attract and educate a new hands on construction workforce.

Very impactful event today. It was a tremendous honor to be a speaker at the hudson valley Alzheimer's Association Hudson Valley NY Chapter breakfast.
