Sharing photo from another page! Did you know stoma construction surgery has existed since the 1800's? This rubber ostomy pouch was commonly used in the 1930's! So amazing to see how far medical science has come!

Hey everyone! It was so great to see all who were able to attend the November Support Group meeting!

Hernia Belts – This topic came up during the meeting and some GREAT insight was shared by many within the group! Parastomal hernias are unfortunately a very common complication. Many in the group shared that they not only wear a hernia belt but said they wished they had started using one sooner!
