The Kiwanis Club of Historic Newburgh played a key role in making this project possible. Our club contributed the initial $10,000 to launch the effort, funding the hiring of a playground company to collaborate with the town on design, construction plans, and other early-stage costs.

Our members should take pride in the lasting impact we’ve made on this park. In addition, our fundraising efforts helped support the construction of one of the park’s shelter buildings.

Newburgh Park Pals is a non-profit organization established to enhance the public's enjoyment of the Newburgh public parks along with preserving, protecting and growing the parks. We accept contributions and campaign to raise funds.

Thanks to you, our club can help more kids in our community.

(Newburgh, IN 2026) ERA First Advantage Realty is assisting Kiwanis Club of Historic Newburgh Indiana conducting a shoe drive fundraiser. Gently worn, used and new shoes may be dropped at any of the eight ERA offices through the middle of March 2026. The Club will earn funds based on the total weight of the pairs of shoes collected, as Funds2orgs will issue a check for the collected shoes. Those dollars benefit the Club’s local projects (all funds received will be distributed to organizations that benefit Newburgh and Warrick County residents). Since 2018, we have raised and distributed over $12,000!

All types of shoes can be donated from boots, baby shoes, flip flops, high heels. 100 bags of 25 pairs of shoes earns $1,000. It is a win-win for all involved!
All donated shoes will be redistributed throughout the Funds2orgs network. Funds2orgs
works with micro-entrepreneurs in helping them create, maintain and grow small
businesses in developing countries where economic opportunity and jobs are limited.
Proceeds from their sales of the shoes are used to feed, clothe and house their families.

You may also drop off shoes at the Banterra Bank, 3811 Haley Drive [across Hale from
Living Word Church]; German American Bank 8477 Bell Oaks Dr, Newburgh; Newburgh
Senior Citizens Center 529 Jefferson St Newburgh OR call and leave message for
Ruth Hahn to pick up at 812-573-9113.
