Friends of Newburgh is looking for a non-profit to partner with to host the Fiddler Fest. Anyone interested?

Friends of Newburgh and the Fiddler Fest committee have been working on having the Fiddler Fest this year.
However, the star of the festival has declined our invitation to join us. There are no catfish fiddlers to be found from any suppliers.

We are sorry to announce that we will have to cancel the festival this year. We are ever hopeful that fish will grow and be available for next year.

The Newburgh Fiddler Festival has been a staple fall event in Newburgh for 40 years, providing music, crafts, artisan booths and our famous fiddler dinners.

The 2020 Fiddler Festival scheduled for August 28 & 29 is being cancelled for this year. The health and safety of our festival goers, musicians and volunteers that make the event a success each year is a top priority.

The Fiddler Festival has provided financial supports local groups and projects over the years and we look forward to next year, August 27 & 28, 2021 to continue the traditions of fiddlers at the Old Lock & Dam Park.

It’s less than 24 hrs until Newburgh Fiddler Fest. For just 2 days you can get the best catfish fiddlers or filets cooked on the Newburgh riverfront at Old Lock & Dam Park. Serving starts Friday at 5pm -8pm and Saturday 12pm -8pm. Live music, beer garden. Other food vendor, crafts and much more. All with the best river view. Come out and be part of a Newburgh tradition.
