Today at Rotary, our guest speaker was Chris Cooke, Town Manager for the Town of Newburgh Indiana. Chris covered all things Newburgh in a very informative presentation.

If the room looks a bit different, we had audiovisual technical difficulties, so we moved from the conference room to the private bowling alley room, and it worked out great!

It's time to begin getting those sponsorships in and teams registered for our annual golf scramble! The 2026 Rotary Club of Warrick County Charles Schneider Memorial Golf Scramble is scheduled for Monday, August 17th, 2026.
This year, we're at a new venue - Quail Crossing Golf Club!!

That yellow dictionary we gave you in 3rd grade several years ago? It could be worth $500!

Did you receive one of our yellow dictionaries as a Warrick County 3rd grader? If so, this one's for you — Class of 2026 graduates!

Here's all you have to do:

✅ Find that yellow dictionary from 3rd grade
✅ Take a current photo of yourself holding it open so we can clearly see the "Class of 2026" date and your written name inside
✅ Email it to [email protected] before the end of May 2026

**In your email, please include:**
🏫 Which Warrick County elementary school you received the dictionary from.
🎓 Which high school you're graduating from in 2026.
👤 Your name and contact information.

One lucky winner will be randomly drawn at one of our June club meetings for $500! 🎉

Today, our guest speaker was Heather Kelsey, COO of Evansville Vanderburgh Public Library Foundation. She presented an update on the merger of the EVPL Foundation and the Arts Council of Southwestern Indiana and how it will benefit multiple counties, including Warrick. Good info!

We had an excellent, interactive, and fun program today at Rotary. You may say, today was .

Our guest speakers were Jeremy Evans, Director of Advancement, and Erica Schmidt, Executive Director, with the Children's Museum of Evansville. Aside from us finding out about all of the new and creative advancements they have made over the years, we found out about nighttime adult events and more.

Our guest speakers today were Karla Horrell and John Niehaus with Evansville Association for the Blind. They provided an excellent overview of the mission of EAB and how they self-fund the majority of the mission with their services.

💛💙 Meet the President! 💙💛

John Abel is back serving as the president of Rotary Club of Warrick County.

John has been a Rotarian for over 3 years serving as president of Warrick County Rotary as President for the last two years.

He is also serving right now as Assistant Governor for Area 7 in the District.

John had worked in flooring sales for 16yrs and purchased Sunrise Flooring and Cabinets in 2021.

John went to school to be a golf pro at the golf Academy of the Carolinas. He spent three years as a professional in the business. Now, John focuses more on family fun and the outdoors such as camping and hiking with his family.

Today, at Rotary, we had an informative presentation about Youth First, Inc. and their important mental health programs improving lives in Warrick County. Our speakers were Carla Webb and Keisha Willis.
