We would like to thank those following the ICDL page and all those who have stepped up to help us organize a statewide organization to protect and defend the 2nd Amendment rights of all Hoosiers.

Unfortunately, a YouTube personality recently produced a video to purposely and maliciously slander ICDL. As a non-profit, all records regarding income, taxes, salaries, etc. are a matter of public record. This person made no effort to contact ICDL, nor to research our organization, before making his slanderous video.

The following letter is from ICDL's lawyer who is handling this matter for the organization.

Thank you for your continued support!

Newton County in Missouri recently passed a bill that will empower county law enforcement to arrest any federal agent attempting to enforce any federal anti-gun law in their jurisdiction. In part the bill says the following;

“All federal acts, laws, orders, rules, and regulations passed by the federal government and specifically any presidential administration whether past, present, or future, which infringe on the people’s right to keep and bear arms as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the United States Constitution and Article 1, Section 23 of the Missouri Constitution shall be invalid in the county, shall not be recognized by this county, and specifically rejected by this county, and shall be considered null and void and of no effect in this County.”

ICDL is working diligently to help counties in Indiana pass similar "2A sanctuary" resolutions in our 92 counties. So far 26 counties have declared themselves to be "2A sanctuaries". However, we must go further and work to empower Indiana Constitutional Sheriff's to also arrest, or otherwise remove, any federal agent attempting to enforce laws which are repugnant to the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

We must also work to have our State Legislature pass a Statewide law that would make it a crime for any federal agent to enforce any federal anti-gun law. This would by default make all 92 counties “2A sanctuaries”.

With Joe Biden residing in the White House along with his paper thin majorities in both the House and Senate, we must work harder than ever before to pass a State law prohibiting federal agents from enforcing any anti-gun laws this administration may pass. We’ve never faced a more anti-gun President or Congress in our lives.

Please join with us in our fight to preserve the liberties of Hoosiers!

While counties within the U.S. have passed Second Amendment sanctuaries, Newton County, Missouri, has taken that notion a step further.

NOTICE: H.R. 127 the "Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act"

By now many of you have likely seen quite a bit of panic circulating the internet regarding U.S. House Bill H.R. 127 authored by Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee (D - Texas).

We won't delve into the details of this PROPOSED bill. It's important to note that it is a proposal that has yet to be accepted into committee, and from our sources it likely won't be. That means H.R. 127 is no where near being taken to the House floor for a vote or passing into law.

Please, we urge everyone to calm down and urge others to do the same. A number of social media folks who are well meaning, but misinformed, coupled with certain gun rights groups who are using this bill to scare people into donating to their organizations have the internet gun community in an uproar.

H.R. 127 is not a threat at this time. Rep. Lee routinely proposes outlandish bills such as H.R. 127 and not once in her career has a single one of her bills made it to the floor for a vote. Her often times crazy proposals don't have enough Democrat support, and certainly don't have enough Republican support, to go anywhere in the House.

We have been in regular communication with Gun Owners of America about this bill and at the time of this publication H.R. 127 is not something we need to be concerned with. Things could change in a moments notice of course, should something tragic happen for example, at which time we will post how to contact your representatives and how to proceed with political action here on the ICDL page.

I want to stress that it is critical we don't constantly whip our community into a frenzy over bills such as this which have little chance of passing into law. We must remain focused on tackling actual threats to our rights that will present themselves in the future. We can't continue to cry "WOLF!" over every hair-brained bill that will be proposed over the next few years. If we do, our community will become fatigued and therefore less effective in fighting bills that do have a chance of making it to the floor for a vote.

Please stay tuned to the ICDL page and we will communicate any threats that may present themselves here along with appropriate political action we can take.

Thank you!

Good evening all!

If you haven't had a chance, please watch the following video. It is a livestream with Gun Owners of America that took place tonight on the Military Arms Channel talking about the challenges we face headed into 2021.

Going forward, we will be holding regular "State of the 2nd" livestreams with our friends at GOA and with other guests. The purpose of these videos is to share important information about things happening in Washington DC regarding our 2A rights.

Thank you to for following us here on Facebook. Please check in regularly!

Due to the pandemic Indiana will conduct primary voting (June 2nd) either by mail in ballot or in person voting at your normal polling stations. At this time it's optional to vote by mail, but as the pandemic continues this may change and voting by mail may become the only option. The voting commission will revisit this on April 22nd to make that decision.

It is absolutely critical that gun owners take part in the primary process and also the national election come November. You can rest assured that Every Town and Mom's Demand Action will be actively pushing their followers to be politically active during this time of crisis. Sadly, anti-gun forces never let a tragedy go to waste, this includes national emergencies.

Apathy on the part of freedom loving Americans and gun owners is not an option!

If you're not registered to vote you can easily get registered by following this link: http://indianavoters.com/

If you wish to vote by mail vs. voting in person you will be able to request a mail in ballot using the same link as above. This functionality is not yet active on the website, but it should be before the primary begins. Here's that link again: http://indianavoters.com/

Please share this post and help us spread the word. Voting is absolutely critical in our ongoing battle to save the Republic from those who seek to separate Americans from their Constitutionally protected rights.

All Hoosier voters will have the opportunity to cast their ballot by mail in Indiana's primary election, rescheduled for June 2 due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

We shall not comply.

The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday rebuffed a bid by gun rights advocates to overturn President Donald Trump's ban on "bump stocks" - devices that enable semi-automatic weapons to fire rapidly like a machine gun - implemented after the 2017 Las Vegas mass shooting.
