With areas of 3 feet of snow give or take. The Groomers will be going out to start packing the snow on the trails.

It’s prime snowfall for “off trail” sleds.

Trail sleds may be best waiting till we do what we do best on the Crazy 8’s!

Stay safe out there and keep an eye out for the groomers.

TASA Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association was out yesterday cleaning up damage and trying to pack the snow down

If you try riding use extreme caution. The ground isn’t froze and there will be water and mud in spots

There will also be trees and limbs down.

We are off to a good start thank all the clubs for their hard work

The driver had a long day and night never making to here until the middle of the night

A Clipper bringing snowfall tonight is followed by lake effect snowfall over the northwest wind snow belts Wednesday. The lake effect snow shifts to the north by Thursday. Watch out for blowing snow and rapidly deteriorating conditions over the next couple of days!

Update: Newberry schools have not canceled after school activities yet. We will be holding classes as scheduled. If the weather changes we will update this post.
