The 2026 Honorable Judge Stephan P. Mickle, Sr. Essay Writing Contest is officially open for high school seniors. This year’s theme, “Sowing Seeds of Change,” challenges students to explore Judge Mickle’s legacy of integrity, social justice, leadership, civic engagement, and strengthening communities. Essay submissions are being accepted now through Tuesday (December 15th).
