The Newberry Community Choir is a choral group of inter-denominational volunteers brought together by love of singing and love of the Lord Jesus Christ. Just a reminder!!!!

We are having a "Community Choir Reunion" on Saturday, at 6:00 pm at Summer Memorial in the fellowship hall. Please bring a covered dish and something to drink. You and your family are invited to join us for a time of renewed friendships and even a sing-along.

Several of you emailed me and suggested that we sing so I am asking you to bring a hymnal and choose a favorite hymn. We will "take requests" and lift our voices once again in praise.

We will also have some costume pieces, props, and music available if you or your church or organization may want them.

See you Saturday!!!

I bet this is a surprise! The officers of the Community Choir met several weeks ago to discuss some "old business" and during that meeting, we decided that we would like to have a Community Choir Reunion.....an evening where we can come back together to just renew friendships.

We set the date for Saturday, September 10th at 6:00 at Summer Memorial Lutheran Church in the fellowship hall. (Sound familiar?) Bring a covered dish, your family if you would like, and plan to spend a little time together just fellowshipping.

We have some bins of music and props that we will put out if you would like to take anything for your church or personal use.

I hope that you will make plans to join us. I have certainly missed seeing you all and will look forward to sharing this time with each of you.
