Celebrating Juneteenth!

Come and join us tomorrow at Freddie Warmack Park as we celebrate with the Concerned Citizens of Newberry for their annual Juneteenth event. We are excited to participate this year and to join hands with our other community organizations to honor our history and move forward together.

Had a great day at the Newberry Main Street Organization spring festival yesterday! It was great meeting so many of our community members and sharing our passion for Newberry's history and our goals for this upcoming year. Thanks to everyone that signed up to become a member.

The Newberry Historical Association’s Oral Histories Project is working to preserve the voices and experiences of longtime residents, families, and community members.
Whether you’ve lived here your whole life or helped shape Newberry along the way, your memories are an important part of our shared history. You can participate by sharing your story.
