Newberry County Humane Society The Newberry County Humane Society has been caring about and for the animals of Newberry County for over 35 years.

Our mission is to save the lives of animals through affordable spay/neuter options, fostering for rescues, supporting TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) of feral cat colonies, and providing the community in need with food and vaccines to keep pets in their homes. We have been dedicated to improving the conditions at the local Shelter for over 10 years.

This has been a very slow week for adoptions at the Newberry County Animal Shelter SC! Come check out the great kittens, cats, dogs & puppies waiting for homes. The adoption fee is only $25 on Saturdays!

🐾 FOUND CAT – PROSPERITY, SC 🐾

Do you recognize this sweet black cat?

This friendly, very hungry cat was found in the Edgewater Shores neighborhood off Macedonia Church Road in Prosperity, SC (Newberry County).

The cat appears comfortable around people and has been seeking food and attention. A microchip scan will be completed tomorrow to help locate any owner.

If this is your cat or you know where this cat belongs, please contact Percy’s Angelic Cat Rescue at (803) 816-1078.

Please share to help us reunite this kitty with family. Even indoor cats can slip outside, and not all cats wear collars.
