Newberry County 4-H at South Carolina 4-H Congress 2026! πŸ€

Our Newberry County 4-H seniors had a great time attending South Carolina 4-H Congress at Clemson this week. This year's theme was "Beyond the Revolution." They enjoyed leadership workshops, meeting 4-H'ers from across the state, and making memories that will last a lifetime.

A special thank you to Mr. Adam C. Hall for serving as the chaperone for our Newberry County seniors. Your time, guidance, and support helped make this experience possible, and we truly appreciate your dedication to our 4-H youth! πŸ’š

Yesterday morning, I had the opportunity to work with Mrs. Felker’s class at Mid-Carolina Middle School to plant a beautiful flower bed outside the school! 🌸

We had a great time getting our hands dirty, planting flowers, and topping everything off with a fresh layer of pine straw. The class definitely showed off their green thumbs!

A huge thank you to Jacob Cathcart at the Newberry County Career Center for generously donating the plants and helping make this project possible. We appreciate your support in helping beautify the school campus! πŸ’š
