We are less than two months away from the 2026 Michigan Forest Products Show at The Ellison Place in Ga***rd, Michigan, please share this post!

We are still accepting exhibitors, especially in the beautiful, air-conditioned, in-door exhibit hall! We already have over 120 indoor and outdoor exhibits already signed up, so this is going to be a big event! Our exhibitors will enjoy a private exhibitor lounge with coffee, donuts, and other snacks for both days, as well as a cash bar available inside the exhibit hall! The exhibitor lounge is sponsored by Morbark, LLC!

We are excited for special events and activities as well, including the Michigan LumberJacks & Jills event taking place 10am-3pm, on Friday, August 7, and an amazing kid's tent, inflatable axe throwing and a bounce house, sponsored by Gapinski Forestry Products Inc, PINECO, and the Michigan Department of Natural Resources!

We also are excited about our food truck court, sponsored by Frontier Truck Parts, Superior Insurance Agency of Sault Ste. Marie, LLC, and Forest to MI Faucet! We currently have KC Sizzle And Smoke, Trucking Delicious, The Iron Pig Smokehouse, and a couple more signing up!

Finally, we also have an awesome raffle that will be taking place at the Show, sponsored by Forest Insurance Center Agency Inc! Slipknot Charters of Manistee is offering the winner their choice of either a Lake Michigan fishing trip or a Manistee River fishing trip, as well as a full tackle box! Raffle tickets will be sold at the event for $10!

Timbermen's member Shamco, Inc. in Iron River made the news last week - they hosted the annual Purdue University field trip over in the western UP, teaching Purdue forestry students all about logging. Awesome work!

Congratulations to Timbermen's member Jordan Solomon, President and CEO of Ecostrat Sawdust, with an office in Ann Arbor, Michigan! Jordan was recently named Canadian biomass champion of the year by Canadian Biomass Magazine.
