All three minis, Josey the Mini Horse and her two Mini Mule sons Jasper and Buckley, have officially been adopted out to their new home as of July! This trio was the family unit of Ozzy the Mini Donkey, who passed unexpectedly in April.

This mare is BROKE. Neck reins, goes off leg and seat pressure. Patterned - barrels mostly but also poles/gymkhana/play days, likely needs a refresher to get back into gaming 🙂 Lately she has been used for more casual riding. Bumping around the arena, trails, etc. She has been my boyfriend's go-to horse but financial hardship forces sale.

She is more go than woah, and has some buttons, so not suitable for a beginner rider, but she would do amazing as an intermediate/step-up youth barrel horse.

Picks up all feet, lunges both ways, can be somewhat pushy on the ground until she understands you won't put up with it. Absolutely no buck, bite or kick. Stands to be groomed/bathed and is gentle about taking cookies.

🐴 Missy and Fiona have formed a very close bond since the loss of Ozzy, the mini donkey. They are both permanent residents of Hoofprints who will spend the rest of their days at the rescue. Both of them face mobility issues that come with age, but our team at Hoofprints has been doing all we can to keep them as comfortable and happy as possible.

Fiona was recently fitted with new shoes 🧲 and we have seen an improvement in her comfort and mobility.
