📸 Eclipse & Jack told us to tell you that they hope you have a good week! ❤️

🐴 Jack is looking for his forever home! He is a 13 year old Quarter Horse gelding. He is ground broken and very well mannered, but has shown a reluctance to be ridden. We have not pressured him to accept a rider - but with the right person, patience, and trust, Jack has the potential to become rideable. He is otherwise a very good natured gentleman. If you think Jack could be the addition you’re looking for, please reach out to us! If you know someone who might love a horse like Jack, share this post with them!

🐴 Eclipse has been adopted by one of our volunteers and you will frequently see him participating in rescue events.

💌 If you are unable to adopt a horse in need of a home but would still like to help, visit our website — hoofprintsrescue.org — to learn more. Adoptions, donations, volunteering, and even liking and sharing our posts are great ways to help the Rescue succeed. ❤️

📸 Pretty Priatta

Priatta is privately owned, but is considered a sanctuary horse here at Hoofprints. Her family needed help with the physical demands of caring for a horse, so Priatta came to the capable and dedicated hands of our team at the rescue — with her family sponsoring her care.

While Priatta has a family at home who still loves her and is sponsoring her, we have many other Sanctuary horses who could use the same love and generosity of a sponsor that Priatta is so lucky to have.

We ❤️ our red mares!

📸 Fiona (blaze & white muzzle) & Missy (smaller blaze, white snip on nose)

Fiona & Missy are our sweet old ladies who are frequently in the yard to greet visitors. As age and time wears on, so too do their bodies. Their movements are becoming stiffer and more challenging, some days are worse than others. Our mission now is to keep them as comfortable and as happy as possible until they tell us they are too tired and worn out to keep going.

Spend a moment here with them, and please consider making a donation towards their veterinary care & comfort expenses. Visit hoofprintsrescue.org for more information - or contact us directly. ❤️

📸 Josey the Mini horse & her sons, Jasper & Buckley (mini mules)

🐴 Ozzy, the miniature donkey, who passed on 4/16/2026 — leaves behind his wife and two sons. The four of them lived together before coming to the rescue. When this family first arrived, they were very timid and avoidant, having not been worked with enough at their previous home to be comfortable with people. Thanks to our wonderful volunteers, spending countless hours handling and working with them, these three have come a very long way in trusting new people.

💌 If you would like to help support the late Ozzy’s wife and sons, please consider making a tax deductible donation. Visit hoofprintsrescue.org for more information.
