Hey everyone!
Thanks for taking a minute out of your day to read this! A group of classmates and I are holding an MDA 5k fun run on November 23rd. For those who do not know, the Muscular Dystrophy Association supports men and women who battle challenging muscular diseases such as Duchenne muscular dystrophy and ALS. This organization provides resources as well as hope for a cure to those who struggle with muscular dystrophy. As the brother of someone who battles muscular dystrophy, the MDA is very near and dear to my heart.
We are very passionate about this cause and we were inspired to hold a 5k fun run in the hopes of raising awareness and funds for the MDA. Our run will be held on November 23 at 1:00 PM on the campus of George Fox University in Newberg. The 5K run will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by a brief reception including snacks, a raffle, and prizes. Registration for the race can be found on our Google form (link provided in the post) with a $10 registration fee on the day of the race.
We completely understand that not everyone can make it out to a 5k in Newberg, however if you still feel called to support our cause, then our provided link will allow you to easily donate to our donation campaign. Our goal is to raise $2500 and we know that with your support, this can be done! Thank you all so much for your support and together we can fight back against muscular dystrophy!
