Newaygo Nationals Association Our organization’s goals are to foster, facilitate and teach outdoor education, conservation and encourage participation in paddling and outdoor recreation.

The Newaygo Nationals Association was created for many reasons. Our organization’s goals are to foster, facilitate and encourage amateur participation in paddling and outdoor recreation. Some of the ways in which we will achieve these goals is to sponsor, conduct and host national paddling and outdoor recreation events. The Newaygo Nationals Association will also cultivate national events and spor

ting competitions that draw awareness and provide a benefit to the Muskegon River Valley and its watershed by promoting these events for the competitors and our surrounding community. We look forward to improving conservation and attentiveness of the resources in our area through these goals. Newaygo Nationals Association encourages you to participate in these goals and events with us here in our community and beyond.

Please be safe out there with the rising waters on the Muskegon River. Water levels can change very quickly, making it difficult to get to safety.

SITE CLOSED

THE MUSKEGON RIVER IS UNDER A FLOOD WARNING. Due to high water and unsafe river conditions, in accordance with Countywide Policy, all public access sites along the Muskegon River are CLOSED until the Flood Warning has been lifted.

THIS PUBLIC ACCESS SITE IS CURRENTLY CLOSED
All use of this property will be prohibited until further notice. Violation of the policy shall be enforced under MCL 750.552 (Trespass).

Great News for Hearts United Festival! 💛

The road construction leading to Riverfront Park is on schedule to be COMPLETED on Saturday—just in time for our festival on Sunday, August 3rd! 🎉

We are so grateful to the City of Newaygo and the construction team for their incredible work and dedication to this improvement project. Their efforts and investment make it possible for our community to celebrate with ease! 💛

🚗 Parking Information:
• Most convenient parking: River Street lot (closest to Riverfront Park)
• Additional parking: Available throughout the city – carpooling is encouraged!
• Vendors: You may load/unload at the spots closest to the Riverfront Park, then park in the nearby lot within walking distance.

☀️ The weather looks beautiful, and we can’t wait to welcome you for a day full of kindness, music, art, and celebration!
