📚 Teachers come in all shapes, sizes, and walks of life, and we’re so grateful for the incredible teachers in our Reading Partners community: our tutors and AmeriCorps Volunteers!

As educators, you’re constantly learning and growing. You show up for our trainings and workshops, share tips and tricks with one another, and eagerly build your skills, so you can show up as your best self for our students.

Your commitment, patience, dedication, and passion make a difference every day. Thank you for believing in our students, investing in their growth, and helping them reach their literacy potential. 🌟

Happy World Teachers’ Day! 🧡🤗

Overheard in our reading centers and partner sites… 👂📣

“Thank you for tutoring me!”
“What are we reading today?”
“Let’s sound it out!”
“I’m so proud of you.”

These are just a few of the many words you might hear during a Reading Partners tutoring session, where students and tutors learn, practice, and grow together. ✨

Volunteer tutors, we want to hear from you! 👀 What are some things you’ve heard while tutoring our students? Share them in the comments! 💬

Our University High School Red Hawks Rising tutors showed up and made an impact this summer! 📚💙

While tutoring students at Belmont Runyon Elementary School, these young leaders provided one-on-one literacy support while building their own leadership, communication, and professional skills.

We’re so proud of our tutors for investing in Newark’s next generation of readers! 🌟
