Last Saturday Dan Seador and his wife Monica walked around Old Baltimore Pike picking up trash along the roadway. Together, they filled 3 very large heavy duty bags of trash.

We had a great meeting and breakast Thursday. We continued the morning with perfect attendance certificates from 1 year to 27 years of perfect attendance (Congratulations Robin Broomall ) then Dan Seador received the club's Rotarian of the Year award and we ended this breakfast with our incredible current District Governor Dale Kerns installing our new officers welcoming our new President Laurie Williams of Camp Bow Wow Delaware North and her team.

What a POWERFUL Rotary Minute we heard yesterday from Nelson Atehortua, who was born in Bogota, South America.

He is a Rotarian so he can be part of an organization that is doing everything possible to prevent billions of children from having a childhood as he did.

At the young age of 3, he was diagnosed with the viral disease polio. His has learned to deal with the difficulties and get the best out of the challenges he faced, building his life and educating others to help for a better future and not living in the past.

What a story and we are so happy to have Nelson in our Rotary family.

So much happen in this morning's breakfast meeting that we will post something new each day this week from today's Club Meeting.

We were glad to have Rotaract UD president Riley and President-Elect Thomas attend this morning.

We also had Jerry Bilton from Newark Delaware Rotary Club visit.
