On Friday, LAPP had the privilege of working alongside our community law enforcement partners, Ohio State Highway Patrol, Licking County Sheriff's Office, and Heath Ohio Police Department, at the annual, county wide, OVI checkpoint.

LAPP’s role was to observe, advocate, and connect individuals to critical services at a time when they need support most.

This work is only possible with partnership. Together, we can continue building a stronger, healthier, Licking County.

Huge thanks to Travis Dassylva, Josh Kraner, and the crew at for tackling six tree removals and trimming countless others. Their work has made a huge difference in the look and safety of our property. Mid-State is fast, efficient, and always willing to work with our non-profit. This is year two of them keeping our building and grounds in great shape through every season. From mowing and spring cleanups to snow removal all winter long, we are grateful for partners we can trust and depend on.

We wanted to take a moment to recognize our very own team member, Ava Long, and celebrate the success of her portfolio show at COTC this week!

Ava joined us as a marketing intern fresh out of high school and has quickly become a crucial part of our team. She works closely with our administrative staff on marketing and brand design, creating brochures, business cards, and so much more.

As she enters the final semesters of her degree, we’re incredibly grateful for her growth, her willingness to learn, and most importantly, her buy-in and dedication to LAPP’s mission. We’re proud of you, Ava!
