Mandalas in the Meadow! Join us for a morning of Mindfulness, Meditation and Foraged Art Mandalas at the Together We Grow Fruit & Forest Farm in Newark, OH.

In our session together, you can expect:
- A relaxing meditation & gentle forest walk
- An introduction to creating mandalas through the plant lifecycle
- A gathering of forest materials to create beautiful natural art in the meadow
- A small gift included for reflection afterwards

The session is free for the community. Donations are appreciated and encouraged to support the missions of both Together We Grow and Mental Health America.

The event will include light walking on uneven terrain, standing in grass and wooded areas, and bending to collect natural materials. Attendees will have the option for seated rest at picnic tables at a shelter house throughout the session.

Location: just across the driveway from 14 Vogel Street, Newark, OH 43055.

Attendees are encouraged to wear comfortable weather appropriate clothing for an outdoor event. We recommend bringing water, a yogamat/blanket, big spray, and sunscreen.

Facilitated by Together We Grow Associate Director, Kristin Ambuske and, MHALC Program Manager, Julie Dement - a certified Wellness coach and yoga teacher.

One of our favorite seasons = Preschool Children's Garden season! 🍓🍓🍓

We have officially started one of the most adorable educational programs offered in the county! Last week we learned about strawberries, planted, read books, played berry games, tasted strawberries, made crafts and laughed under the parachute!

Our next sessions will be on Tuesdays: June 23rd, July 7th, July 21st, August 7th.

For every latte sold, we’ll be donating $1 to Together We Grow to help in their mission to maintain community gardens all around Licking County, including in our schools here in Newark! With your help, we can work to promote self-sufficiency and fight food insecurity. 🌽

Do you know a Kid ready for a summer adventure? 🌱

Dig into fun at the Together We Grow Kids’ Garden Adventure Camp (Ages 6–11) at the Fruit & Forest Farm in Newark, OH.

Over 2 exciting sessions, your young explorer will: 
🐝 Discover the secret roles of pollinators & decomposers. 
🌿 Get hands-on experience making gardens thrive. 
🎨 Learn, create, grow, and play outdoors!
✨ Bonus: Registration includes 2 lunches and a camp T-shirt!

Camp registration includes 2 dates: Thursday, June 25th and Thursday, July 23rd. 10a-1pm.

Intern spotlight! ✨ We're so proud of Ladaria West for successfully completing her MCAT!!!🎉

Ladaria is blazing trails at Together We Grow! This May she completed her 2nd year TWG internship, which she balances during her academic school year .

We are cheering her on as she makes strides towards medical school in pursuit of becoming a Psychiatrist.

Enjoy your well deserved summer break, Ladaria! We can't wait to see you back next fall!

So much gratitude for our spring prep volunteers who found us online and raised their hand to help! Maryanne, Julie, and ! We appreciate all you did in the last 60 days!

Your extra hands helped us with Here We Grow programming for adults with disabilities, helped with our spring plant sale, and made a big difference in our office spring cleaning & garden prep.
