🗓️ Mark your calendar!! Black Boy Joy returns to Newark! 💙🦋

It's happening!

The 2nd Annual Black Boy Joy Fest is coming to Military Park on August 1st and we cannot wait to see everybody out there.

Last year was something special. This year we're building on it. Same love, same community, same celebration of our boys just bigger and better.

Come out, bring your sons, nephews, mentees, brothers, stepsons, etc, and let's have a real good time together. That's really all this is. A day for our boys to be celebrated, affirmed, seen and forour boys to connect, while everybody to leave with their cup full. 🙌🏾

Today our Cleveland Elementary School scholars reviewed the first draft of their latest project: Real Talk Before High School. Produced in collaboration with our Teen Mental Health Ambassadors and our South 17th Street girls.

Last month, Butterfly Dreamz hosted “Butterfly Banks & Money Talks” with more than 50 girls and women across Newark, NJ and Gary, IN. ❤️

Together, we talked about money beliefs, saving, spending with purpose, investing in ourselves, pay equity, and knowing our worth. The girls also created Butterfly and Bee Banks as a reminder that financial confidence grows one conversation and one choice at a time.
