Ark of Safety Outreach Program The Ark of Safety Outreach Program was designed to provide the youth throughout the City of Newark with the tools necessary to have a successful school year.

This goal is achieved annually via our annual "Back to School" event. Although hosted in Newark, our event is open to residents through the County of Essex. Our "Back to School" event is supported through the financial and in-kind support from local businesses, residents and non-profits. Sponsors from our inaugural event include;

Last year's event drew in close to 500 families. Through our local support we where able to provide 350 young people with book-bags with school supplies. We look forward to growing larger every year providing more and more direct services to families in need.
