April 30th, we celebrated 34 years of SHPE at NJIT.
The Gala wasn't just your average event, we brought a room full of proof. Proof that when you invest in Hispanic and minority STEM students, they show up, they lead, they deliver, and they come back.
To our alumni(us), professionals, and every partner who walked through those doors. Thank you for being a part of what the chapter stands for. To our university and the family here, President Lim, Provost Office, NCE, HCAD, Civil, OSIL, HLLC, EOP, University of Advancement, DOS, YWCC, IEEE, WECE, HACCS, NSBE, Teams, CSLA, CDS, your belief in our mission makes nights like this possible.
"The spark of SHPE is back", is the best way to put it. We don't do this alone and we never will.
