Mande President institutes a standing committee and an Advisory Council:

June 18, 2021

The President of Mande Association of New Jersey Mr. Mohammed B Fofana, has with immediate effect instituted one Standing Committee and a Strategic Advisory Council in the Association. The Planning Committee is headed by Mr. Varlee M Kamara, and Co-chair by Tanti Camara. The Committee is tasked with a short term responsibility of planning and recommending budget proposals for the 2021 EID Al-Adha program, Proposed Book Luncheon in New Jersey by Sister Nabie Fofana, and the FELMAUSA National Identification awareness.

The Advisory Council includes former President Bijou Sanoh Sesay, former President Sekou Koutoubou Fofana, and former Planning Committee Chairman of FELMAUSA, Honorable Vamadu Sheriff of Missouri. This Committee will advise the Administration on all affairs.

The Administration urged all members to give the committees your fullest cooperation as they embark on the journey of making things happen for Mande Association of New Jersey.

Meanwhile, the Administration would like to inform all members that July 11, 2021 is confirmed for this year’s Bus Ride to Atlantic City. Tickets will be available effectively through the Planning Committee and other members of the Administration and Board for $50.

Mande Association and Masjid Fallahee to meet with the community:

June 13, 2021

The Mohammed Fofana led Administration of Mande Association of New Jersey, in collaboration with Masjid Falahee, is scheduled to meet with the Community today, Sunday 6/13/21, to specifically discuss the future of our children vis-a-vie the delinquencies on the rise amongst the youth that seem to be increasing with the Covid 19 Pandemic.

The meeting is slated for 5:00pm at Masjid Fallahee, located at 675 Clinton Avenue, Newark NJ, and expected to be attended by stakeholders of the community, members of the clergy and community well-wishers.

All Executives, Board, and members of Mande Association are asked to be in attendance and on time.
