Attention Attention in the area, For those of you that may be coming out to Falling Rock this weekend SR79 is closed north of Wilkins Corner. The best alternate route is to take SR79 around the curve at Wilkins Corner, turn RIGHT on to Wilkins Run, follow this for about a mile to Porter, turn LEFT on to Porter, at the stop sign turn RIGHT and you will be back on SR 79.

Happy Statistics Sunday everyone!
We crunched the numbers on merit badges this summer. We had scouts start 2136 merit badges. 1789 of those were fully completed at camp. THAT IS AN 83% COMPLETION RATE! We thought you guys would like to know the most taken merit badges:

It's Merit Badge Monday,

This summer we served 733 Scouts and worked on over 2000 merit badges! Of those 1541 merit badges were completed at camp, for a completion rate of around 75%

And the best news, those numbers are going to continue to go up. We are leased to offer a virtual follow session to camp this year for the Citizenship Merit Badges.

It is Statistics Sunday!
Our first year camper program at CFR is called Foothills of the Frontier. This summer we had 179 scouts that divided into 31 patrols to complete these first class requirements. We had 13 patrols this summer complete all the requirements plus a little extra and earn Honor Patrol!

Week 6 came to a close on Saturday. Our staff stayed a few extra days to prepare camp for the off season. Although week 6 was small, it was mighty! Stay tuned in the next week for all the stats of our 2025 camping season at CFR!

Week 5 was wonderful and filled with so many friendly faces. This week is our last week of the summer and we are having a blast!

Week 4 was amazing as always! It was our biggest week of camp! Week 5 has begun. It has been a little rainy but the sun keeps shining through.

Week 3 is over. Now on to week 4! We still have availabilities weeks 5 and 6 for troops, provisionals, and CITs!

Camping with your troop is amazing, but did you know you can come back for another week of fun as a provisional? Weeks 5 and 6 still have lots of room for provisional scouts! Come join us.

Are you at least 14 years old and looking for a new camp experience? Well have we got a program for you.

There are two levels to our Counselor in Training(CIT) program:

CIT A: One week of camp where you learn about what it’s like to be a staffer by participating in sessions about leadership, creativity, skit making, and so much more. As a CIT A, you are also able to visit program areas and assist in teaching as well. The cost is $100.

CIT B: For those who have completed CIT-A, a two week long program that allows a CIT to visit program areas every session while assisting in teaching scouts and running events. The cost is $200.

Being a CIT includes tons of leadership experience, preparing young scouts for roles on camp staff, leadership in your unit, and future employment

There are still 3 more weeks left to come out to CFR and the CIT Program always has room for more people.
