✨ A Moment That Reminds Us Why We Teach ✨

Blessed Sacrament's Middle School History teacher, Mr. Orend, shares about who shaped his journey as an educator:

"I had three people who have influenced myself as an educator. My Mom was a 5th and 6th grade teacher, who gave up her career to raise me and my sisters. My 5th grade teacher-Mr. Kennedy made history come to life for me. Finally, Mr. Victor Rutter who was my history professor at Ohio Univ. Eastern."

June is Alzheimer's & Brain Awareness Month, a time to learn more about brain health and honor those living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.

Many of our students have grandparents, relatives, and loved ones affected by memory loss. By raising awareness, we can foster compassion, patience, and understanding.

Every person deserves dignity, respect, and love at every stage of life.

🌟 Unsung Hero Spotlight 🌟
A parent reached out and wanted to spotlight Christine Bogue.

Today we want to take a moment to recognize a truly incredible teacher—someone who may never ask for recognition, but absolutely deserves it.

She has been such a blessing to our son and to so many others at Newark Catholic. Her impact goes far beyond the classroom. She has played a central role in his success and happiness, helping him grow not only academically, but as a person.

Because of her dedication, patience, and care, our family has found a sense of peace that was missing for years. That kind of impact can’t be measured—it’s felt every single day.

We are deeply grateful for everything she does, and we continue to keep her in our thoughts and prayers, hoping she knows just how much she means to the families she supports.
