Our Activities

Facebook Activity
● Updates efforts toward our nation’s first chemistry science center.
● Brings existing programs to newer audiences.
● Presents new perspectives on the role and image of chemistry in society. The Rolf Dessauer Award for Excellence in Public Outreach in Chemistry
and the Legends Lunch
The Dessauer Award celebrates chemistry’s personalities who have presented chemis

try with humor, enthusiasm and audience engagement. The Legends Lunch celebrates those individuals who have transcended the laboratory and have made chemistry a true benefit to the public. Online and Modular Exhibits
Based on topics with easy audience connection, such as the environment, chemistry in art, and cooking, and through the help of our alliances evolve them into modules available to public establishments with audience interaction through multimedia and supervised hands-on activities. The First Chemistry Science Center in the U.S. Our exhibits will provide the basis for the jewel of distinction for the field of chemistry and for the Delaware region: the first U.S. science center dedicated to chemistry: the testament to a future dependent on molecular-scale innovation. If your organization needs science content, work with us and connect your programs with more of the community.
2. Tell other people about us. Help connect people to inexpensive fun and learning.
3. Tell us what chemistry means to you. A better future starts with your opinions on what you want from technology.
4. Your membership dues will help us fund our expanding list of programs. Any questions? Contact Allen Denio at:

In the meantime, there are some simple things we can do to be smarter about what we try to recycle.
1. Know what to toss in the bin ...
2. ... and what not to.
3. Do a quick cleaning, but you don’t have to go crazy.
4. Don’t bag it.
5. When in doubt, throw it out.

There are so many confusing recycling rules! These tips will help you figure them out.
