Yesterday, ICC joined public officials & community groups from across Essex County to push for the passage of the Polluters Pay Act (S2338)!

Corporate polluters have profited BILLIONS, while everyday families in Newark and throughout the state suffer the devastating financial and environmental costs of the climate crisis and the man-made environmental impacts that come with it.

This landmark legislation will require large corporations to pay $50 billion over 20 years to fund climate resiliency projects in New Jersey, safeguarding our local infrastructure, utilities, healthcare, agriculture, and schools.
