What motivated you to work for BBBBSLP?
My educational and professional experiences have centered around teaching, counseling, and working with individuals with disabilities. My position at BBBBSLP is a wonderful opportunity to bring all of these experiences together. I am passionate about supporting children and families, and I feel that this role allows me to use my skills and experience in a meaningful way.
What is your favorite part of your job?
I absolutely love the hugs! I especially enjoy seeing the children smile, hearing their laughter, and listening to their stories. One of the most rewarding parts of my job is watching them set aside the stresses in their lives, even if only for a few moments, and simply enjoy being kids. It is incredibly meaningful to me, to see them have fun playing a game, creating a craft, or spending time with their Big.
What is your favorite quote or saying?
“God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.”

I absolutely love working in New Lexington, Ohio! Since moving here in 2020, I have quickly grown to love this wonderful community. The school district, administration, staff, teachers, and most importantly the students, are all truly amazing! I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such dedicated and supportive individuals and to serve such a community that feels like family!
