Each Holiday Bag includes shelf-stable food items, hygiene items, socks, and a calendar for a homebound older adult served by Meals on Wheels.

Rising food and supply costs make community support especially important this year. Your donation helps us reach all 1,000 recipients and, when funding allows, strengthen the contents of each bag.

Ready to feel more confident with technology? Our next Digital Skills Hub technology training class starts on October 19 from 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM at 1058 East Main Street, Newark. Supported by AARP Ohio and offered in partnership with Columbus State Community College, ConnectUS Central Ohio, and the Licking County Foundation, this free training will help you feel more comfortable using your devices or get a little extra help with technology.

This class is a 5-day training, and participants must be present for all 5 classes from October 19-23. To sign up, visit lcap.org/digital-training. An LCAP team member will confirm your registration.

Join us TODAY for Pack for Paws! We’re teaming up with Licking County Humane Society and Sophie’s Thrift Store to collect pet food and monetary donations for senior pet owners in our community. Stop by from 4:00 – 6:00 PM at Sophie’s Thrift Store, 635 Hebron Road in Heath, and help us keep bowls full!

We’re teaming up once again with our friends at Licking County Aging Partners to "Pack for Paws," a pet food donation drive supporting senior pet owners in our community.

While we’re there, we’ll also be giving away FREE pet food through our Full Bowls Project pet food pantry, no income qualification required!

As always, a huge thank you to LCAP and Bill Stevenson - State Farm Insurance Agent for helping us continue to be for pet owners throughout Licking County. 💙
