Veterans Day Tribute 🇺🇸💜

Today, I honor my daughter, Aisha, for her courage, service, and strength. She wore her uniform with pride and represented what it truly means to serve with heart and honor.
Though she’s no longer here with me, her legacy continues to live on — in every act of love, in every fight for justice, and in every life she continues to inspire.
Forever my hero. 💔✨🥲

My deepest condolences and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of this beautiful woman whose life was stolen in a way no one should ever have to face.
Another Black woman is gone killed by the very man who was supposed to love her, protect her, and stand by her side. This is not love. This is not strength. This is cowardice.

You are already stronger than us physically, yet you choose to pick up a gun? You take mothers from their children, daughters from their parents, sisters from their families. You leave entire communities broken, grieving, and scarred forever.

Black women’s lives are not being valued not even by our own men. And that should haunt every single one of us. We are your sisters, your mothers, your daughters not your property.

If you love us, you do not harm us. You protect us. You cherish us. You fight for us, not against us.

Rest in peace, Queen. Your light was stolen, but your name will not be forgotten. 💔🕊

Your openness about the pain of losing your loved one has deeply moved us all, and it strengthens our commitment to ending the cycle of domestic violence. Your leadership and voice are an inspiration.

Thank you for standing with us in this fight. Together, we can create change. 💜

This Domestic Violence Awareness Month, I honor the lives of my daughter Aisha and my granddaughter Harper, who were tragically taken from us far too soon. Their story is my motivation to fight for change, to ensure that no one else’s cry for help goes unanswered. I carry their memory with me every day, and I’m dedicated to breaking the cycle of domestic violence so others don’t have to face the same pain. Aisha and Harper, I love you, and I will continue this fight in your name.
