Police Seek Help Locating Missing 16-Year-Old Newark Girl

Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in locating Charish Boardingham, 16, of Newark, who was reported missing on Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Charish was last seen at a residence on Kenmare Avenue wearing a black jacket, black pants, and black sneakers. She is described as a Black female, approximately 5’7” and 210 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.

Director Miranda urges anyone with information on Charish Boardingham’s whereabouts to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward. PRESS RELEASE – A Major Win for the City of Newark and the Newark Fire Department

Today marks a monumental victory for Newark. Governor Murphy has officially signed legislation establishing a $3 per-night, per-room hotel fee—a sustainable revenue source that will support our city for life. Every hotel room rented in Newark will now contribute directly to strengthening services, resources, and public safety for our residents.

This milestone was achieved through strong collaboration and leadership, featuring:
