Brrrr...it's cold outside!🥶Saint John's is running low on warm coats, 🧥especially for men! We also need warm sweatpants (great for layering).

Donations are accepted Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 to 12:30. That's when we have staff to help you unload!

Thank you for all you do for the underserved people of Newark NJ! We are nothing without our doors and donors!🙏🫶

With great joy, we share the news that Rev. Pedro Bismarck Chau, who faithfully served as pastor of St. John’s Church & Soup Kitchen from 2015 to 2020, has been appointed Auxiliary Bishop of the Archdiocese of Newark.

We give thanks to God for his “yes” and pray for his continued ministry and humble service to the people of our Archdiocese. Congratulations, Bishop-Elect Chau! 🙏
